What Is Involved In Studying This Course?
Level 2 Certificate Electrical & Electronics Engineering
To Achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Engineering IVQ- Electrical & Electronics Technology (2850- 84), learners must achieve 35 credits
- 21 credits from the mandatory units plus;
- A minimum of 14 credits from the optional units (please see the table below)

To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Engineering- Electrical & Electronic Engineering (2850- 90), learners must achieve:

- A minimum of 27 credits from (328, 330, 332-335, 351)
- A minimum 9 credits must come from (328, 332-335) (please see the table below)

Entry Requirements
Certificate Level Applicants
There are no formal entry requirements for candidates under taking these qualifications. Career Advancement Programme (CAP) applicants, ages 16- 19will be subjected to do a Math’s and English entry test. Applicants should also complete and submit a registration form with the required supporting documents stated on the application form.
Diploma Level Applicants
Applicants should already possess a level 2 certification in the related field from a tertiary level institution or minimum four- six (4- 6) CXC/ CAPE subjects, Math’s and English and any other related subjects OR a minimum of two (2) years’ work experience may also be considered. Applicants should also complete and submit a registration form with the required supporting documents stated on the application form. Applicants ages 16- 19 who do have the specified CXC/CAPE subjects may still be subjected to sit a Diagnostic Mathematics and English Test.
